As a financial inclusion professional, Michael has supported the set-up of a national microfinance fund in the Democratic Republic of Congo, initiated social performance management in institutions in Jordan and Palestine, improved risk management in institutions in Tajikistan and Morocco, assisted in institutional transformation in Ghana and Kenya, disseminated best practices through worldwide online training programmes.
At FS Impact Finance he invests in financially sustainable and socially responsible microfinance institutions, while working on its future crowdinvesting platform to fund green growth in Africa and Latin America.
Michael holds two Masters’ degrees from the American University of Paris and the Institut Catholique de Paris, in International Relations and Polemology. He is also a Certified Expert in Microfinance and SME Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
He is a voracious reader and, when not spending time with his daughter, involved in furthering Robert Schuman’s European project in France and Germany.
